You’ll freeze your warts off!

cold
Me, October through May.

I’m one of those people who’s always cold. I need a sweater if it’s under 75. You know when you open the oven to check on a roast and you get blasted with hot air? That’s how I want to feel when I walk out my front door. So I may be something of an unreliable narrator when it comes to weather, but it’s been cold enough here lately that even normal people are complaining. Below 30 in Seattle is legit.

Dash has recently taken quite an interest in helping me get rid of these plantar warts. He’s probably tired of me complaining about them and I can’t really blame him. I’ve been dealing with them all year, and they bother me the most in the morning, so it’s been the first thing he’s heard about just about every day of 2016. He is now convinced that freezing them off is the best way to go, and since I’ve been out running every day in this weather, I expect them to be gone any minute now. As much as I hate being cold, it’s been so sunny and clear that I’m actually enjoying my runs lately. I did seven miles this morning, and while I did end up with two bleeding toes, for now I seem to be holding steady at two warts, eight toenails. I’ll keep you posted if anything changes.
