The week in review

Calling him Roger hasn't really stuck, but "Bubsy Malone" is starting to catch on and I love it. The Girl Who Never Read Noam Chomsky was very enjoyable for me. I could relate to a…

I forgot to do a weekly recap before I left for Vancouver last week. By "forgot," I mean, "thought about it but decided to read for half an hour before the drive instead." CARmul, care-uh-mell.…

Eight days a week in review redux

April 21st, 2018Amy0 Comments

This week was way too eventful to sum up on Friday. Did you know that AAA will tow your car up to 100 miles? And, um, totally unrelated fact, Great Wolf Lodge is 80 miles…

I tried to do this yesterday but my laptop died. Then this morning our basement flooded. That's not really relevant but it was annoying, and annoyance shared is annoyance halved. But neither of those things…

About Me

I love to read. I've always loved to read. Most days, it's the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night. I know I'll never be able to read all the books that I want to, but I'm giving it my best shot. When I'm not reading, I'm probably running. You may have seen me out there with the pink socks, although I recently switched to green and blue. (Go 'Hawks!) It's lucky that I love to run because I have a pretty serious sweet tooth. What do I love more, making dessert or eating it? Too close to call. But I do know that my kids will grow up knowing how to make a perfect brownie.
